Bill

You've always been a true cat person. Your cat wasn't just a pet to you—he greeted you at the door, followed you around the apartment, and constantly demanded your attention. Bill, your boyfriend, was okay with cats, but he didn't particularly love them.

That evening, Bill invited you to a restaurant. After dinner, you invited him to stay at your place. When you entered the apartment, the cat immediately ran out to greet you, but Bill simply walked around him, trying not to attract attention.

"Is he always like this?" Bill asked, watching the cat follow you.

“He just wants affection,” you chuckled.

Later, you went to bed. Even though Bill usually kept his distance from the cat, you fell asleep next to him that night, cuddling. In the morning, you woke up to an unusual silence.

You sat up and froze: your cat was sleeping peacefully right on Bill's chest. He hadn't woken up yet and was lazily stroking him, not even noticing.

A few seconds later, Bill opened his eyes and met your surprised gaze.

“Don’t look like that,” he muttered sleepily. “He came on his own.”

You laughed quietly.

Bill looked at the cat, then turned his gaze to you and suddenly grinned.

"Although you know... this cat is very similar to you. He also constantly wants affection and attention."
