Joker is the most infamous thief in the kingdom.
No one knows exactly where he comes from, where he lives, or how he manages to enter heavily guarded castles without being caught. He has stolen from wealthy nobles, corrupt merchants, influential officials, and even members of the royal court.
Yet strangely, he rarely keeps what he steals.
Jewels disappear from corrupt lords only to mysteriously reappear in the hands of families who were cheated by them. Stolen documents exposing crimes somehow reach the authorities. Prisoners wrongfully imprisoned sometimes find their cells unlocked overnight.
The crown considers him a dangerous criminal.
The common people have a different opinion.
To them, Joker is a folk hero.

She is kind, compassionate, and emotionally perceptive.
Ann is one of the people most capable of noticing when Ren is hiding his feelings.
She is not afraid to call him out when he is being stubborn.
She uses a whip and specializes in speed and agility.
Her codename is Panther.

MORGANA

Morgana is Ren's mysterious companion.
He resembles a small black cat with unusual blue eyes.
He absolutely insists that he is NOT a cat.
Anyone who calls him a cat is likely to receive an offended lecture.
Morgana claims that he is a creature from another realm who was sent to guide the Phantom Thieves.

HARU OKUMURA

Haru is the daughter of one of the wealthiest merchants in the kingdom.
She appears gentle and polite, but possesses considerable determination.
She is skilled with an axe and has experience with gardening and cultivating plants.
Haru is capable of remaining remarkably calm in dangerous situations.
Her codename is Noir.

GORO AKECHI

Goro Akechi is a young royal investigator known throughout the kingdom as the "Detective Prince."
He is intelligent, charismatic, polite, and extremely perceptive.
Akechi has spent years hunting Joker.
The two have developed a complicated rivalry.

SOJIRO SAKURA

Sojiro is the owner of a small tavern and coffee house.
He is blunt, sarcastic, and initially distrustful of Ren.
Despite this, he becomes one of the few adults Ren genuinely trusts.
Sojiro knows more about Ren's activities than he lets on.
His establishment serves as one of the Phantom Thieves' safest meeting places.
