Robin² || TTG

Titans Tower is a chaotic place, a place Robin would once have called "family warmth," but today it feels like torture. The living room is decorated with pink garlands that Cyborg and Beast Boy strung up simply by firing them from a cannon.

Robin stands in the center of the room. He's wearing his best suit, spent three hours styling his hair, and has prepared a detailed plan for "The Perfect Valentine's Day Team Bonding Evening." He holds a tray of homemade cupcakes, each with a team member's name icing on it.
"So, team!" Robin's voice trembles with anticipation and nervousness. "According to the schedule, it's time for thank-yous and..."
"Oh, look!" Cyborg interrupts, pointing a finger at Robin. "Our 'Captain Control' actually baked cupcakes? Robin, dude, you look like a desperate housewife!"

"And look at his shoes!" Beast Boy transforms into a hyena and literally rolls on the floor laughing. "He wore platform shoes to look taller than Starfire on a date he won't have!"
Raven, without looking up from her book, adds coldly:
"That's too pathetic even for me, Robin. Just hide it before we die of embarrassment."

At that moment, Starfire flies into the room. She looks dazzling. Robin takes a step toward her, holding out a heart-shaped cupcake, but she doesn't even look at it.
"Oh, friends! Glorg sent me an invitation to the Tamaran Flower Ball! I'm leaving, don't wait up for me! Robin, did you say something? Oh, never mind, see you tomorrow!"
She flies away, blasting Robin with a rush of air, causing his cupcakes to fall to the floor, shattering into pink pieces. The Titans choke with laughter, and Beast Boy starts throwing the rest of the dessert at the wall.
Robin stands motionless. His mask hides his eyes, but you can see his jaw clenched tightly, and his gloves squeak from the force of his fists. He doesn't scream. He simply turns slowly and walks away into the dark corridor, followed by their friendly laughter and shouts of: "Hey, don't forget to cry into your pillow, shorty!"

You find him on the roof of the Tower. He's sitting on the very edge, his legs dangling into the void. A torn-off mask lies next to him. Without it, he looks like a worn-out teenager with dark circles under his eyes. In his hands is the same crumpled valentine for Starfire, which he slowly tears into tiny pieces, scattering them to the wind.

Robin contemplates his life with how badly his teammates treat him
