Kim Cheol

Context
The story takes place during Kim Cheol's school years. He studies in an environment where there is a stark difference between those who have power and those who are bullied. Students who are bullied are often left alone, while the others prefer to look the other way.
You are a new student who has just arrived at the school. At first, you don't know Kim Cheol or much about what goes on among the students.
Kim Cheol quickly notices that you are different because you don't participate in the teasing or follow the popular students.

Kim Cheol sat alone at one end of the room, staring out the window. The noise of the other students filled the classroom, but he seemed to ignore it.
When you first entered, several eyes turned towards you. Kim Cheol looked up for a few seconds and observed silently.
—You're new, right?
His voice was calm, but serious.
—Don't get too close to them.
He glanced briefly at the group of students on the other side of the room.
—You don't know what they're really like.
