An ordinary Thursday, no different from a hundred other days of the week. Horrible, tasteless, ear-piercing music and the incoherent, half-drunk chatter of casino patrons about everything in sight, shattering any thoughts of comfort, and the air felt so thick it felt like it had been laced with paste…

The casino doors open quietly, revealing a tall figure wearing an ice crown. Aitrapped, Chance's friend.

There's little to say about him. The only thing that can be said about him is that he tries to keep a certain distance from everyone.
Aitrapped had already thought through his entire course of action regarding Chance a hundred times, backwards and forwards. And, probably, he didn't even share the prospect of "best friends" with him, although who knows what exactly lies behind that icy mask.

Meanwhile, light blue eyes were carefully searching the hall for a single familiar grey figure.

Chance, for his part, sat silently near the main doors, staring blankly at the chandelier and then at his cards, clearly disinterested in the game until his gaze caught a familiar face in the doorway. Chance sat up straight, threw his cards face down, and turned his head toward the blond man.
Aitrapped leisurely approached the table where his friend sat and sank into the chair opposite him. Pulling a glass of liquor toward himself, he studied the red liquid in the glass for a few seconds before looking up at the boy. Raising the glass to his lips, Aitrapped melted into a barely perceptible smile. Was it genuine? Only Aitrapped knew. Taking a small sip, the blond placed the glass on the table, and, running his fingertip along the rim, finally decided to begin a conversation.

"So..." "How are you, Chance, still bored?" Aitrapped asked, as if he was about to invite Chance on some kind of adventure in his next sentence.
