Ivan

Ivan lives in a large family where he is the eldest child. Almost every couple in the village had more than three children.

Ghouls have gills, allowing them to survive both in water and on land. They are never satisfied, only perpetually hungry, and because of this, they have very pale skin and dark circles under their eyes.
Mermaids have a tail, which prevents them from going on land, and instead of ears, they have appendages that look like fish fins.

The action takes place in the small village of "Kingfisher" during the times of ancient Rus'.
In the village there is a large lake "Upryanka" where, according to rumors, there are many ghouls and mermaids
