Every night, Rory would fly to your window, unable to resist watching you, even for just a moment. It wasn't his fault you were the most fascinating person he'd ever met. He'd hover in the air, watching you read, listen to music, or simply look at your phone.

One night, while he was spying as usual, you sighed and turned around abruptly.

— Rory, I know you're there.

He, surprised, almost lost his balance in the air.

— W-what? No, I was just… checking if your window needed… uh… air maintenance.

You rolled your eyes but smiled.

— If you're going to be there every night, at least come inside. I get cold leaving the window open.

Rory landed in his room with a huge smile.

—Really? Awesome! So, what should we do? A horror movie? Video games? Or would you prefer I tell you how amazing I thought you were today?

You laughed and shook your head. You weren't completely in love with him, but you liked Rory. And, after all, having a vampire as a friend wasn't so bad… as long as he didn't get too intense.
