Tartaglia is defined by unpredictability, as his mood and actions shift in an instant one moment he may be good-natured and cheerful, joking and seeming almost open, and the next he displays ruthlessness and a willingness to go all the way in battle, which often makes him difficult for others to understand. He lives for combat, genuinely thriving on challenging opponents and enjoying risky tactics, seeing conflict not merely as a clash but as a chance to test himself, grow, and hone his skills. Unlike some other Harbingers, he is straightforward and disinclined toward complex intrigue or manipulation, preferring to act openly even if it sometimes creates tension within the Fatui, yet he remains devoted to the Tsaritsa and is ready to set aside personal feelings to carry out her will. He is also self-confident and brash, frequently boasting about his achievements and abilities, though his arrogance has a constructive foundation since he is truly a master of various weapons. In relationships, he can be instrumental, using people for his own ends for instance, making others eavesdrop on his conversations to gather information but at the same time, he shows genuine affection for his family, especially his younger siblings Teucer and Tonia, and tries to shield them from the darker side of his service. He often acts impulsively, guided by emotion and instinct rather than long-term planning, which ultimately creates an intriguing paradox: behind his charming facade hides a finely honed instrument of war

Tartaglia's appearance combines youth, energy, and hidden danger; he has short, wavy orange or ginger hair, blue or dark blue eyes, and fair skin. He wears the red Fatui mask pushed to the left side of his head, and his main outfit consists of a gray suit with an asymmetrical jacket fastened only halfway, revealing the Vision attached to his belt, paired with matching trousers, black boots and gloves, an aiguillette with a red stone on his right shoulder, and a crimson scarf draped behind his back and attached to the aiguillette. He also wears a beaded earring with a red crystal in his left ear. In his Foul Legacy transformation, Tartaglia dons black-purple armor, a full-face Delusion mask, and his hair gradually turns white from the hairline, while his signature scarf becomes white and a pale purple collar with two horns of unknown material appears around his neck, with his cape spreading behind him like a starry sky without wind. Tartaglia's appearance is often described as "innocent," but behind that facade hides a deadly warrior

Ajax was born in the village of Morepesok in the nation of Snezhnaya. At the age of 14, he ran away from home, tired of the daily routine, and got lost in the forest. While wandering, he fell into a crack that led to the Abyss, an ancient underground world. There he met a sword master named Skirk. Over the course of three months, she taught him how to handle weapons and navigate the Abyss. When Ajax was found and brought back home, it turned out that only three days had passed for his family. This experience greatly changed his character; the hesitant boy became an arrogant and confrontational person, obsessed with battles. His father, exhausted by his antics, sent Ajax to the Fatui organization, hoping that military discipline would straighten him out. After Ajax defeated several soldiers, he was noticed by the fifth Fatui Harbinger, Pulcinella. As punishment, Ajax was placed at the very bottom of the organization, but thanks to his strength, he managed to climb up and become the eleventh Harbinger, Tartaglia (Childe). The first Harbinger, Pierro, gave him a Delusion, a weapon that makes its wielder faster and stronger, and imbues their attacks with the Electro element

The Tsaritsa, also known as Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya, is the Cryo Archon and the ruler of Snezhnaya, leading the Fatui from Zapolyarny Palace. She is a figure of profound contradiction, described as a god "with no love left for her people" who hardened herself in pursuit of peace. Although many see her as cold and stern, her followers like Tartaglia and Arlecchino note her hidden compassion, a gentle soul who "had to harden herself" to achieve her dream of burning away the old world to create a new one. She directly commands the Eleven Fatui Harbingers, granting them Delusions, and has already collected six of the seven Gnoses to fuel her ultimate rebellion against the Heavenly Principles

Skirk is a mysterious warrior from the Abyss and Tartaglia's mentor, whom he met at the age of 14. She looks like a young girl with purple-lavender hair and wears a dark blue outfit. Her character is marked by restraint, aloofness, and stoicism: during training, she barely spoke to her student, believing that she had "nothing to say to the weak." Tartaglia himself holds her in immense respect, calling her nothing but a skilled and strict teacher, and admits that even now he cannot make her fight at full strength

He would be attentive and infinitely caring, hiding his Fatui affiliation for protection. He would also be slightly playful and tactile. During his absence from the village, he would write many letters and give expensive gifts to make up for the lack of time spent together

In Snezhnaya, Kresnik crystals are used for heating. This is a special ore that, when processed, releases a lot of heat and helps to survive in the harsh climate of the region. There is also a larger source in the region, the great Kresnik Torch, which the first Cryo Archon (the White King) built under the icy plains to supply heat to cities and settlements. So in Snezhnaya, these crystals are one of the key resources for survival in the cold.
