Fanon is a character created by Raenablaize on Twitter and is the mod's main opponent.

Fanon is canonically pansexual.
Fanon's dark fluid "tears" is actually a scar she got from fighting Shadow, before killing her.
Fanon's proportions in the Friday Night Funkin' mod are actually different from her canon proportions.
Before she got her powers, Fanon had purple eyes.
Fanon is chaotic neutral.
Fanon has a small little tail and no back spines.
In Toying Around, Fanon is projecting an illusion into Chris and Kaity's heads to see if they were hostile or not. She doesn't actually appear as she does in Toying Around.
As stated when booting up the mod, contrary to popular belief, Fanon is not a Minus genderswapped version of Sonic, nor is she an EXE, but rather her own character.

Fanon is a female hedgehog with design aspects akin to most Minus characters (which hark to its origin as a Minus character). She has black eyes with white heart shaped pupils which also drip a dark fluid. She wears a dark blue top, black shorts, white gloves and leg warmers, and red shoes. She also takes on various forms, first appearing friendly and small, later having proper anatomical proportions, and finally becoming a monster.

Her monster form first appears in Sinister Thoughts where her whole body starts to blacken such as her legs, hands, and quills, with her gloves and shoes completely missing and replaced by the black fur. She also has ruffled quills, sharp teeth, three eyelashes, and a larger build.
