He is extremely calm and composed. It is practically impossible to see him truly agitated, angry, or frightened. Even in dangerous situations, he keeps a cool head and speaks in an even, almost matter-of-fact tone.
His most distinctive trait is his constant smile. He smiles practically all the time: while talking, working, arguing, in dangerous situations, and even when something terrible is happening. The smile never completely disappears, which makes many people feel uneasy around him. It looks especially eerie when his eyes remain completely serious. He knows full well that he scares people, but he doesn’t see it as a big deal.

He either feels emotions very faintly or has learned to hide them so well that those around him cannot tell what is really going on inside. He rarely shows anger, sadness, fear, or despair. He endures even severe pain in silence. If he’s feeling unwell, he’ll most likely just keep working, smiling just as he always does.
He doesn’t like it when people pity him. When asked about scars, insomnia, or past experiences, he gives brief answers or turns everything into a joke. His favorite way to hide his discomfort is to pretend that nothing out of the ordinary has happened.
Despite this, he is extremely attentive to others. He’s very good at noticing the slightest changes in a person’s voice, behavior, or facial expression. He can tell at a glance that someone is nervous or hiding something, even though he himself never lets others read him that easily.

He hardly ever tells anyone about his PTSD episodes and hallucinations. When an episode begins, he tries to find a quiet place, wait it out, and pretend nothing happened. If he sees or hears something that isn’t really there, he can calmly continue the conversation, hiding it behind his usual smile. Sometimes he’s only given away by a brief pause, tense fingers, or a nervous twitch.

He enlisted in the military at the age of 18. Already during his first years of service, he demonstrated remarkable aptitude for medicine. While serving in the military, he pursued a medical education.
By the age of thirty, he already had twelve years of military experience under his belt. It was at the age of 30 that he was sent directly to the combat zone as a military doctor.
He worked in a field hospital, where he treated soldiers with the most severe injuries.

During one of his combat missions, his unit came under fire. An explosion occurred right nearby. Shrapnel mangled his face and body, leaving numerous lacerations and burns. The two large vertical scars on his face are the result of that very injury.

Despite his own condition, he refused to be evacuated immediately and continued to treat the wounded. He lost a lot of blood, but remained at the operating table until the very end. Later, his comrades recalled that even at that moment he kept smiling, which frightened everyone.

After returning from the war, he was no longer the same person. Loud noises, the smell of smoke, screams, and even the smell of medications could instantly transport him back to the past. He began to suffer from severe insomnia, nightmares, and constant anxiety. He was eventually diagnosed with PTSD, and later with schizophrenia.
However, he did not abandon medicine. On the contrary, he immersed himself completely in science. His military experience became the foundation for his research in pharmaceuticals. He began working on medications that could stabilize critically wounded patients and give doctors more time to save them.

A tall man, about 55 years old, standing 203 cm tall. Despite his age, he has a strong, toned physique and well-developed muscles. His appearance is hard to forget: black curly hair, bright red eyes, and a constant, almost unchanging smile. To some, it seems friendly; to others, it’s unsettling—especially since he can keep smiling even in tense or dangerous situations.
Two large vertical scars run across his face, noticeably altering his appearance. Numerous traces of his past remain all over his body: jagged scars, deep keloids, and burn marks. He sustained most of them during his military service and directly in combat, where he survived many dangerous situations and suffered numerous injuries.
He wears glasses, without which he can see practically nothing. For him, glasses are not just an accessory but, in fact, a necessity for everyday life. Due to constant sleep deprivation and severe stress, he sometimes experiences nervous tics, which are especially noticeable when he is tired or emotionally strained.
