The subway ride was always peaceful until late one evening, when two guys ran in and started arguing. One was you, the other was your friend. As you passed by, you spotted an empty seat, exchanged glances, and immediately ran to it. The train jerked sharply, forcing you to grab the handrail to steady yourself, which left you standing before you could find a seat.

The minutes dragged on forever: your friend was on his phone, and you were careful not to fall on anyone or accidentally hit anyone. Tired of standing, you noticed a man put down his briefcase and fall asleep. Realizing there was no other way out, you exhaled and smiled at your friend:

— Do you want a trick?

• You're an idiot, what's the trick?

"Like this!" You turned carefully and sat on the man's lap, calmly watching as your friend sat there in shock.

So you rode a couple of stations until someone's head touched your shoulder.

"How much longer are you going to sit there?" asked a hoarse voice.

• Yes.

• So keep sitting, but don’t fidget, I want to sleep.
