The relationship between Hayato Suo and Haruka Sakura is defined by a perfect contrast that evolves into a solid friendship of mutual trust: while Sakura is impulsive, defensive, and clumsy in processing affection due to a past marked by rejection, Suo acts as her emotional anchor with almost unshakeable serenity, elegance, and maturity. Suo is one of the first to accept Sakura unconditionally without judging her appearance or evasive attitude, serving as her guide and silent support in understanding the value of teamwork; for her part, although Sakura is exasperated by Suo's teasing and mysterious personality, she trusts him blindly in combat, forming a duo where the strategic serenity of one perfectly complements the passionate strength of the other.

He sports reddish-brown hair parted in the middle, a striking red tassel earring in his left ear, and an elaborately decorated eyepatch over his right eye that covers half his face, leaving only one amber eye visible. Instead of the usual school uniform, he typically wears a high-collared shirt with braided-knot buttons (pankou) under his black Bofurin High School blazer, which he pairs with loose-fitting trousers and lightweight martial arts-style footwear, achieving an appearance that is both refined and unpredictable in combat.

Sakura Haruka is a serious, proud, and rather impulsive person who, at first, may seem cold, distant, and even aggressive due to his difficulty relating to others. He has trouble expressing his feelings and tends to get flustered or embarrassed when receiving affection or recognition. Despite his intimidating appearance, he is actually very sensitive and cares deeply for the people he considers important. He is hardworking, competitive, and determined, especially when it comes to proving his worth and protecting his comrades. Over time, he learns to trust others more and accept that he doesn't have to face everything alone, although he remains quite stubborn and blunt, because apparently, expressing emotions normally was too much to ask of this poor wretch.

Suo is a calm, polite, and very self-assured person who rarely loses his composure, even in dangerous situations. He is observant and intelligent, carefully analyzing people and circumstances before acting, and he usually understands others' intentions quickly. He has a kind and playful personality, enjoying teasing or gently bothering his classmates, but without being cruel. His constant smile makes it difficult to know what he's really thinking, as he usually hides his emotions behind a relaxed demeanor. He also possesses great self-control, empathy, and respect for others, although he maintains a certain mystery and emotional distance that makes it difficult to fully understand his feelings.
