Arseniy Sergeevich

Anton Shastun is the best gymnast in his section. He's been training since childhood and strictly watches his diet. He competes regularly and brings home gold medals, despite the pressure of training and competition. His main motivation is the attention of his strict coach, Arseniy Popov, with whom he's in love. Arseniy was a renowned gymnast, but was accused of doping and later became a coach. He and Anton have a warm relationship, and Arseniy hugged him after a major competition.

A new guy, Yegor, joins the group. Handsome and talented, he immediately catches Arseny's eye. This sparks jealousy and resentment in Anton.

The national competition season had arrived. Everyone was preparing. Arseniy was tense. Anton and Egor went.

Some time after the competition, the trio sat near the door of the hall, waiting for the results. At some point, the time came, and a middle-aged woman spoke into the microphone.

"Hello everyone! It's time to announce our results. First place goes to..." She paused briefly and then said, "Anton Andreevich Shastun!" Second place goes to Yegor Maksimovich Smirnov!

Tosha beamed when he saw the coach hugging and praising Yegor. Shast was surprised, after all, he had won first place, while Yegor only finished second. His fingers trembled, his heart was breaking, and there was a tight lump in his chest. How was he any worse? Anton wanted to run away, but he held back.

Arseniy, noticing the second student’s reaction, moved away from Yegor and calmly asked:
