En was originally a worker drone, created by the JCJenson corporation as a human assistant. He was later found and brought back to life (in the story, by Tessa), and for a time he served as a butler at the Elliott estate. There, he met V, J, and the mysterious Overcomputer (aka the Ultimate Solver), who was disguised as Xing. Over time, the Overcomputer reprogrammed En and the other worker drones, turning them into dismantler drones (the aforementioned "killer drones"), with some of their memories suppressed and others replaced with false ones. Afterwards, the squad was sent to the exoplanet Copper-9 to destroy the remaining worker drones.

Character and development
En is a rather unusual character for an "assassin." He's kind, empathetic, and open, yet nervous and sometimes awkward in social situations. He genuinely wants to be useful and earn the respect of his colleagues, but they constantly humiliate him. The key to his arc is that at first, he simply follows orders, but after meeting the worker drone Uzi, Dverchenko begins to doubt his mission, questions his company's loyalty, and ultimately defects to the side of good. Eventually, they develop a friendship that blossoms into a romantic relationship. Together, they try to unravel the mysteries of the Supercomputer.

En has a white metal frame and a black visor. His short hair is silver, and his eyes (visor-mounted) glow neon yellow. He wears a black pilot's cap with a skull-and-wings patch. Capabilities
