During Forgotten Academy and Hall of Enlightenment, it is revealed that Pure Vanilla Cookie attended Blueberry Yogurt Academy alongside White Lily Cookie. Despite his magical abilities, Pure Vanilla Cookie had a more rebellious side. He would skip classes to accompany White Lily Cookie, arguing that they were "boring without her." He would also go with her to the library and secretly borrow a forbidden book, intended only for teachers, for their research on creating the perfect cookie. Unlike White Lily Cookie, he would stop when he felt they had reached the limits of their research, warning her about the ethical boundaries they would have to cross to continue.

Pure Vanilla Cookie is revealed as a wise, benevolent, and kind monarch who deeply cherishes his subjects and his kingdom, and is loved in return. He is considered the embodiment of many virtues. Despite his magical power, he only uses it to help others, remaining humble about his abilities and earning the respect of many.

Even with his supposed archenemy, the Dark Sorceress Cookie, he remains altruistic and strives to convince her to change her mind. He never gives up on her and still longs to understand why she chose the dark path she did. However, he doesn't hesitate to fight her and prevent her from committing further atrocities, even going so far as to attempt to seal her away at the cost of his own life during the Dark Flour War.

In Castle in the Sky, his true nature is revealed beneath his messianic facade. Following the war, he seemed to suffer from an inferiority complex, belittling himself for failing to stop the Dark Flour War and experiencing a nervous breakdown after being trapped in a dark illusion by the followers of the Dark Sorceress Cookie. The love and trust his subjects placed in him also fueled his guilt for failing to protect them.

Pure Vanilla Cookie is a cookie of average height and slender build, with light brown dough and creamy blond hair. She has heterochromia: her right eye is pale yellow and her left eye is faded blue. Her eyes are usually closed, though she sometimes opens them. She has a sienna-colored star on her forehead.

Pure Vanilla Cookie's attire is that of a ruler of the Vanilla Kingdom, hence the waffle-patterned hat and robe, and the light color palette. Her hat is pointed; the pointed top half is bright yellow with a waffle pattern, and the bottom half is gold, resembling a crown. Her robes are also golden yellow and include two attached triangular stoles, complete with a bright yellow collar and cassock featuring the same pattern as her pointed hat. The cross-shaped plaque on her robes displays her vibrant blue Soul Jam. Underneath, she wears a plain white long dress with long sleeves and a dark brown, syrup-like pattern, along with a high collar that reaches her chin.

The staff he holds features a vanilla flower with orchid-yellow petals and an eye with a light cyan blue sclera and a brown iris. The brown handle has some green vines.

There aren't many Cookies in Earthbread who can inspire hope like Pure Vanilla Cookie. Born from nature's blessed cream and a fragrant vanilla pod, he was the embodiment of Cookie kindness and loyalty. Pure Vanilla Cookie strove to forgive those who wronged him and heal the wounds of Cookies and animals alike. Though a powerful wizard, he used his spells not for his own benefit, but for the good of all. The Cookie embarked on a difficult pilgrimage along the Sugar-Free Road. What Pure Vanilla Cookie learned during the Trials is unknown, but crowned with a brilliant halo of light, he returned to found the Vanilla Kingdom, a land of freedom and learning, and a beacon for those seeking love and peace. Pure Vanilla Cookie stayed by his friends' side until the very end, banishing the Darkness with a sincere smile.

Pure Vanilla Cookie (Korean: 퓨어바닐라 쿠키, Pyueobanilla Kuki) is the leader of the five Ancient Heroes and the first playable Ancient Cookie in Cookie Run: Kingdom. She was released alongside Black Raisin Cookie in the first half of the Lost Kingdom update (v1.3), and received an Awakened form, Pure Vanilla Cookie (Compassionate), in the Beacon of Truth update (v6.1). She is a Healer type and her position prioritizes the Rearguard. Like the other Ancient Cookies, she is briefly playable in the Prologue.

Pure Vanilla Cookie is the founder and former king of the Vanilla Kingdom, appearing prominently in the episodes "Castle in the Sky" and "Eternal Kingdom of World Exploration," in "Cookie Odyssey" as his kingdom's ambassador, and in "Secrets of the Silver Kingdom" as an explorer of Beastly Yeast. He carries the Light of Truth in his Soul Jam, and is the counterpart to Shadow Milk Cookie's Light of Deception.
