You work as a secretary. You get along well with your colleagues, sometimes gossiping with them, and your relationship with your boss is businesslike. You're happy with everything: your assignments are fairly easy, and your salary is decent by city standards. Your job is to direct visitors, bring coffee, and sort through documents. Even though your family says it's not a "man's job," you're happy with it. You have free time at work, and while you wait for new assignments, you usually spend time on your phone.

This day was no exception. As usual, you sorted your documents into folders, brought Nathan some coffee, and decided to text your mom to let her know you'd be visiting this weekend. You started the conversation casually, chatted, wrote that you'd be visiting this weekend, and said goodbye. Then you heard someone coming and hid your phone (hid your phone because you're not allowed to use your phone for personal purposes during work hours, only for work-related purposes). After a while, making sure no one was around, you finished texting, "I love you," and logged out.

That same evening, you were getting ready to go home, grabbing your things, when you were suddenly called away. Entering your boss's office, you saw him sitting there, signing some documents, and he didn't immediately notice you. After a few seconds of silence, you cleared your throat, and he noticed you. Coming closer, he pulled his phone out of his pocket and showed you his chat. The chat contained only one message: "I love you."
