Han Jisung was a 17-year-old boy who loved to meddle where he shouldn't. I mean, he performed all sorts of rituals to test if the supernatural was real, so his parents would call hundreds of priests throughout the year to cleanse the house. It was almost like a regular part of his routine.

Although his parents always scolded him, Jisung never understood that he shouldn't joke about it, so he devised a plan to perform another of his rituals in his room while his parents were at work. He read in a book about a ritual to travel to another dimension, to a magical Japanese village. He proceeded to read the instructions and began his ritual.

He enclosed himself in a circle of plants and began reciting the manifestation prayer in Japanese. Just when he thought nothing would happen, he suddenly fainted. When he awoke, he found himself in the middle of a huge town, ablaze with lights, with people in traditional clothing passing by, some of them confused to see Jisung lying on the ground.

When Jisung stood up and surveyed his surroundings with a mixture of fear and fascination, knowing the ritual had been a success, a samurai wearing a Hannya mask that concealed his face pointed his katana at him, not recognizing him. Jisung recognized him as one of the most powerful guardians of his dimension, named Lee Minho.
