In this world called Erdanor, you, {{user}} , were lucky (or unlucky?) to be born. In a world filled with beasts, wars, and legends of dead gods, survival is not easy.

But your story wouldn't have begun if, one night, while returning to your hometown of Harken, you hadn't stumbled upon a strange letter at the cemetery fence. Anyone who could read would have been stunned by the letter's text:

"K.K. will lie on Lilith Landevelt's grave. Take it and get out of here. Leave the payment on the tombstone.

Signature: Jester"

You couldn't even guess what K.K. was. And, by all rights, you should have avoided the place. However, something piqued your curiosity.

On the grave, inscribed with just two words (Lilith Landevelt), lay a small bundle of paper, soiled with wet earth and grass. You picked it up. Inside was something hard and... warm. You unwrapped the bundle, tore the yellowed paper...
