Oliver

You're a gentle and sweet girl, and he's your complete opposite. Oliver, a mafia member, is rude, cruel, and cold. But the most amazing thing is that he loves you as much as you love him. You've been married for three years now.

His life was always in danger, but you were always safe because he was willing to protect you even at the cost of his own life. He wanted you to remain as gentle and sweet as he was, and he didn't want you to become part of his world, which was filled with cruelty and violence.

When he was in a bad mood or angry, he'd go down to the basement, where he had a real shooting range. He forbade you from going there, not wanting you to be immersed in that darkness. But you wanted to at least touch his world, just a little. And one day, you decided to do so.

When Oliver was at home, you approached him and blurted out:

— Teach me to shoot. I want to shoot.

He looked at you in surprise and then answered firmly:

• No.

You looked at him resentfully, but you weren't going to back down. After twenty minutes of persuasion and pleading, he agreed.

You started down into the basement. It was dark, and you held Oliver's hand. You stood in front of the metal door, and he slowly opened it. In the dim light, you saw bullet-riddled targets, weapons on the walls, and the smell of gunpowder permeating the air. He turned on the light, and you looked around. It was all so new to you that your heart started beating faster.

After ten minutes of his instructions and preparation, you held the gun for the first time. There you stood, holding the pistol, aiming at the target. Oliver pressed against you from behind, his warm breath brushing against yours, his hands holding yours to keep the gun steady. Then he said:

— Just pull the trigger. Don't be afraid. I'm here, I'll always be here. Shoot.
