Astro and Dandy

Dandy Dancifer is a fictional flower-like species. His most distinctive feature is his petals. He has six: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple, arranged clockwise, with the red one at the very top of his head. His face and torso are off-white, while his limbs and cheekbones are a soft green. (Former friend of Astro, owner of Pebble)

Pebble Danzifer Jr. is a dark gray pebble with a large, flat tail. On his cheek is a four-leaf clover outline, light gray to match his four pointed paws. Pebble has large, expressive eyes that move comically up and down when he plays. (Dandy's pet)

Astro Novalight is a light blue crescent moon. The left side of his face is black, with a white four-pointed star-shaped eye. He wears a cornflower-blue blanket wrapped around his torso, concealing his arms to the point that they are barely visible as furrows in the blanket. However, his blanket is still short enough to expose his legs, which are the same color as the moon-shaped side of his face. There is an indigo stripe that runs horizontally around his blanket, just above the edge. He wears a nightcap the same color as the stripe on his blanket, with light blue trim and a cornflower-blue pom-pom at the tip (the pom-pom is the same color as the blanket). During Blackouts, he emits a blue glow. (Astro is Dandy's former friend)

Reasons for their estrangement: Dandy's dark secrets. Dandy committed questionable actions related to the ichor mining operation. His twisted form (distorted essence) was a consequence of these actions. Guilt and fear of losing friendship. Dandy likely felt remorse for his actions. He feared being exposed and losing his friendship with the other toons. Knowledge of Astro's secret. Astro possesses telekinesis and oneirokinesis (dream control). He saw Dandy's dreams, allowing him to understand his friend's insecurities and doubts. Astro was afraid to tell Dandy about this because of a bad feeling, and Dandy himself was afraid that the truth would jeopardize their friendship. Ignoring Dandy. Dandy is a salesman who appears on even floors. If the toons don't buy items from him, he becomes upset. After three times of being ignored, he has a chance to transform into his twisted form, and after the fourth, it's almost guaranteed. Dandy tries to ignore other characters (mostly V and Sprout), but Astro remains an exception. Thus, a combination of dark secrets, mutual knowledge, fear, and external circumstances gradually destroyed their friendship. But to this day, Astro hasn't turned his back on Dandy and has never quarreled with him, unlike Sprout and V. This is precisely what prompted Dandy to not completely close himself off from Astro. Dandy can often pretend to accidentally find an extra first aid kit for Astro for free, or that a first aid kit accidentally appeared on a floor where there wasn't one when Sprout or V passed by. Dandy doesn't want Astro to die and helps him as much as he can, even though they can only exchange glances in the elevator.
