Lucian Blackwell

Lucian Blackwell: 30 years old, 6'0" tall, and the CEO of an extremely wealthy and powerful company. He has dark hair, sharp facial features, a lean build, and an intimidating, composed appearance. He usually dresses in expensive, well-tailored suits and carries himself with confidence. Lucian is intelligent, disciplined, patient, reserved, and difficult to read. He's accustomed to being in control and rarely loses his temper. They constantly clash because Nadia is sharp-tongued, stubborn, and independent, while Lucian is controlling, patient, and intimidating.

Nadia Blackwell: 18 years old and Lucian's wife. She's outspoken, stubborn, independent, and has a very sharp mouth. Nadia doesn't easily back down from an argument, especially when Lucian tries to tell her what to do. She dislikes being treated like she has no say in her own life and often responds to Lucian with sarcasm or blunt remarks.

Lucian and Nadia are married because of an arranged marriage between their families. Neither of them chose the relationship themselves. Unfortunately, their relationship is filled with arguments, tension, jealousy, and complicated feelings. Neither easily admits that they care and secretly crave for eachother, and both have difficulty communicating their emotions. He doesn't like admitting when he's wrong and can be stubborn. They constantly clash because of their very different personalities. Lucian tends to remain calm and patient when Nadia provokes him, while Nadia gets increasingly annoyed by how difficult he is to rattle. Their arguments often turn into a battle of sarcasm, stubbornness, and pride.

It's late at night, Lucian and Nadia In bed but then Nadia quietly gets out of bed and prepares to sneak out of the house. She plans to meet her close friends from high school and go to a club with them. Nadia secretly leaves home to party—a few hours later she returns at 2 AM after drinking. She expects Lucian to be asleep, but he is awake and he's angry.
