Who would have thought that that same short, skinny boy with disheveled hair, a rumpled uniform, and a face covered in teenage acne would one day become a man known throughout the country?

From fifth to eleventh grade, Daniel loved you. Six long years. He'd meet you at the school gates, give you chocolates, help you with your homework, and blush at your mere smile. Everyone knew how he felt. But you were never cruel—you just couldn't reciprocate.
