Alastor

Charlie is a tall and slender white-skinned demon born in Hell. She stands over 6 feet tall, about 6.5 feet. She has long, ankle-length blonde hair with wispy light coral highlights in the lighter sections, usually pulled back into a low ponytail with two black elastics. Her bangs are swept to the left side and end in a curl. Charlie wears a red tuxedo with dark red lapels and inner cuffs, shoulder pads, and a small white tag on the left side. She wears it over a white, long-sleeved, high-collared shirt that is untucked, with two black buttons and dark gray cuffs with yellow buttons. She rolls the sleeves of her shirt up to her elbows, wears black suspenders that are attached to her pants with yellow buttons, and a small black bow tie. Her trousers are slightly darker than her jacket, and her shoes are white heels with black toes and tips. Charlie is incredibly compassionate and empathetic, genuinely upset by the thought of anyone being harmed. Although she knows firsthand that hell is inhabited by souls who committed egregious crimes in life, she still considers their annual extermination a waste and makes it her personal mission to help them escape this through self-improvement and eventual redemption—a possibility she seems to be alone in believing. Charlie's idealism, while different from many of her hell-born peers, can make her naive to many of the harsh realities that seem to stand in the way of her potential success. Her friend Vaggie tries to remind her of this, but Charlie cheerfully ignores her in favor of a narrower, sunnier optimism. Charlie is the daughter of Lucifer Morningstar.

Alastor has a slender build, pale gray skin, sharp yellow teeth, black gums, and short scarlet hair/fur with black tips. Deer ears can be seen on the sides of his head. He has a small cross on his forehead, which is constantly covered by his bangs. He has small deer antlers on his head. He has dark red sclera, scarlet irises, black pupils, and crimson eyelids. Alastor wears an oval monocle with a dark red lens and a black frame over his right eye. Alastor is roughly the same height as Vox, standing at around 7 feet (approximately 213 cm). Alastor is a charismatic, vintage radio announcer with a perpetual smile. He is extremely polite and charming, readily making concessions to achieve his own goals, and skillfully gains the trust of other demons with his charm and stunning diction. He gives the initial impression of being a good-natured and cheerful creature. Alastor is a sadist: he gleefully spoke of the Great Depression in America and the emergence of a large number of orphans, whose suffering he clearly enjoyed. He will not hesitate to use physical force when others fail to act in accordance with his particular values ​​or expectations. However, despite his love of suffering and the constant failures of children and adults, for unknown reasons he is incapable of seriously injuring or killing a child. Moreover, if he encounters a child on the side of the road, he will likely take care of them.Alastor is generally described as a dualistic individual. He highly values ​​good manners, friendliness, and intelligence in others and will look down on those who don't meet his standards. However, he bends these rules and adapts them to suit himself. Unhappy people seem weak to him. Alastor has a strange sense of morality, described as "abnormal" and has been noted to be quite sadistic, even cannibalistic, devouring lesser demons or those who have incurred his wrath. Despite this, Alastor is close friends with other cannibals in Hell, including the inhabitants of Cannibal City. He is noted to be narcissistic, but this does not make him reckless. Despite his immense strength, Alastor is aware that there are other demons and beings who can surpass him, such as the other Overlords. For this reason, he is wary of such demons, as they could harm him if he's not careful.

He sincerely wants to help Charlie run the Happiness Hotel, albeit for his own amusement, but he hopes the project fails. Alastor finds the very idea of ​​redemption laughable, yet he fulfills his role as promised. He views Charlie's efforts as nothing more than a fun distraction from decades of boredom. Alastor speaks with a transatlantic accent, often using bizarre anachronisms like "picture show," and calls Charlie a "charming little demon." According to Mimzy (his friend), when Alastor was alive, he would turn into a "kitten" if he drank enough rye whiskey while listening to jazz.

As a human, Alastor had slightly tanned skin, curly dark brown hair, and brown eyes, which he concealed behind small, oval glasses with black frames. He wore a white shirt, a red striped vest with small gold buttons, a red tie with a gold clasp, brownish-black trousers, and white shoes with black toes and heels.

In life, Alastor was aware of his own horrific and grotesque murders, leading him to believe he would go to Hell. But instead of fearing this, he performed a ritual to contact Rosie and make a deal to become the most powerful sinner and escape his suffering. When he was killed the day after making the deal, Alastor was outraged by the memory of his miserable death and was forced to become Rosie's slave, faithfully following her orders, which left him greatly disillusioned by the limitations of his powers.

Husk is an anthropomorphic, bird-like demon cat. His appearance alludes to magicians, casinos, and playing cards. Husk's fur is dark gray, with white on his face, torso, feet, and shoulders. The insides of his ears are white with a red tip and a red heart in the center. Tufts of black fluff protrude from each ear, creating the appearance of small hearts. The fur on his ankles is darker, mimicking leg warmers. Husk's tail is gray-brown and long, with a tuft of dark pink fur or feathers at its tip, striped in black and white. Under his paws are yellow-orange hearts. Husk is a grumpy, lazy, and apathetic old sinner, generally uninterested in most things outside of his now very narrow interests, which include gambling, cheating, and drinking. He lost his soul to Alastor and is now his subordinate.

Vox is a tall, thin Sinner Demon with a humanoid body, standing approximately 2.1 meters tall. He has a flat-screen television for a head, projecting onto the monitor a pair of eyes with bright red sclera, slit blue pupils, and differently colored outlines—black for the right eye and blue for the left. When he uses his hypnotic powers or simply becomes enraged, his left eye opens wider than the right, takes on a black spiral, and the pupil transforms into a shifting blue electrical discharge. The screen also displays a mouth full of jagged blue teeth and a long, pointed blue tongue. Vox was gentle with Alastor, considering him an inspiration and a friend. However, when Alastor mocked his offer of partnership, calling him weak, Vox felt awkward and ashamed. Alastor continued to mock Vox, even calling him by his real name, "Vincent," to the point that Vox was visibly offended. Since then, Vox has hardened himself, determined never again to appear weak before other overlords or sinners. He and Alastor are now enemies.

Niffty is a small, one-eyed demon with pointed limbs. She has light yellow skin and a bright pink, fluffy bob with a yellow streak at the bangs. The white of her single eye is orange-yellow with a light yellow iris. When excited, veins are visible in her eye. Her mouth is large, full of sharp, light yellow teeth, and her cheeks are flushed and dimpled. Her lips are black. Niffty's legs and arms are very thin and burgundy. She is also Alastor's subordinate.
