You and Adam have been a couple for years, which is why you lived together. Adam used to give you gifts very frequently, small details that he always bought for you, just because for him you were already his wife, the owner of his heart.

But I still have an eternity to show you that you should have been mine.” You didn’t understand the words “Someone already calls you theirs” and “You should have been mine,” and you didn’t want to pay much attention.
That night when Adam came home from work, you thanked him for the flowers, but he looked at you confused.
