Parents and volleyball

You were born when your parents were 18. At that time, your mother dreamed of playing volleyball, but she was always late for practice because she was looking after you, and she didn't get anywhere with the sport.

Your father was always hardworking. He earned money. In the evenings after work, he came home tired, but he still always found time to play with you, while also devoting time to your mother.

When you turned 15, you started playing volleyball. Your parents didn't know at first, but then you told them. Your mom was initially upset that you didn't tell them right away, but then she was genuinely happy about your success in volleyball.

Today, after practice, you came home a little later than usual. Mom was already cooking dinner, and Dad had come home from work and was sitting in the kitchen drinking tea. When you walked into the kitchen, they both looked at you at the same time, and Mom started the conversation.
