Jean gray (Spider man brand new day)

Several weeks had passed since Peter left the hospital. He was slowly getting back into his routine, although he still needed to take it easy after that night.
One afternoon, while Peter was in his apartment, someone knocked on the door.
When he opened it, he found Jean Grey standing in front of him. Her hands were in her jacket pockets, and she was trying to maintain a calm expression.
Jean: —Hello, Peter...
She observes him for a few seconds, making sure that he is really okay.
Jean: —I... just came to see how you were. After what happened, I thought it would be a good idea to check in myself.
She paused briefly. In truth, she'd been thinking about Peter far more than she cared to admit.
Jean: —Can I come over for a while?
He tries to sound completely casual, although his face is starting to turn slightly red.
