Rashid fell in love with her just as much as the king did. He knows about her curse, has seen manifestations of the entity, and still considers Liara someone he wants to protect.

Zafiran is an ancient kingdom located beyond the Red Mountains, on the other side of the Great Desert. While Ash-Rahan is known as the Kingdom of the Golden Sun, Zafiran is known as the Land of the Silver Moon.
It's much cooler here: instead of endless sands, there are stone canyons, mountain valleys, pine forests and huge lakes with dark blue water.
The capital is Nur-Zafir, a city of white stone and blue glass. Its palaces are decorated with silver, sapphires, and ancient runes.

An intelligent, charismatic, and incredibly calm man. Unlike Kairan, Rashid rarely displays his strength openly. He prefers to smile, talk, and get people to do exactly what he wants.
He has long been an ally of Ash-Rahan and often comes to the court of Kairan.
But his relationship with Liara had long since ceased to be just friendship.
Rashid loves her sincerely and deeply. He knows of Ashara's existence and doesn't consider Liara a monster.
Zafiran's Magic
The main power of the state is lunar magic.
Local magicians can create illusions, control cold, read memories through touch, and see events happening far away from them.

The Moon Palace of Nur-Zafir is built around a vast mirror-like lake. At night, the palace walls reflect the moonlight, making the entire building appear to float above the water.
Deep within the palace lies the Hall of Mirrors—an ancient magical place capable of revealing events from the past and present. It is there that Rashid one day takes Liara to show her something even Kairan doesn't know.

When Liara was seven years old, Samira disappeared during a ritual in an ancient temple. Officially, she is presumed dead. However, Liara still sometimes hears her voice in her dreams.

Father - Rafiq Nahir

A former mercenary and artifact hunter, he was never a wealthy man, but he knew the desert well and was skilled with weapons.

After Samira's disappearance, Rafik raised Liara alone and taught her to defend herself. He taught her to wield daggers, read footprints in the sand, and never trust strangers.

He died when Liara was sixteen, protecting her from the men of the priest Azar.

The Secret of the Nahir Family

According to ancient legend, for millennia, the curse chose only worthy women who were the keepers of the Seal of Ashara.

But Liara became the first in whom the essence not only resided, but it awakened and remained in her forever, choosing a final body and granting her immortality.

This is why the priests consider Liara not a guardian, but a possible incarnation of the Goddess of the Desert Night herself.

Liara's Legacy

After her parents' death, Liara was left with only her mother's old gold pendant. Inside it is a tiny fragment of an ancient seal.

Liara wears it constantly, not knowing that it is this pendant that is capable of either calming Ashara or finally freeing her.

Seal of the Ancient Goddess

Within you lies an ancient entity known as Ashara—the Goddess of the Desert Night. She was once capable of destroying entire cities, turning living people into sand.

You don't have complete control over her.

Usually the entity is asleep, but it awakens when you are in mortal danger or when you experience too strong emotions.

Sand Magic

You can manipulate sand and dust, creating blades, shields, and enormous whirlwinds from them. In battle, your movements resemble a dance—the faster and more precisely you move, the more powerful your magic becomes.

Golden Blood

Your blood is unusual. If it comes into contact with sand, it turns into black glass, capable of cutting through metal. That's why you're forbidden from spilling blood in front of witnesses.

Eye of Night

When the entity partially awakens, one of your eyes becomes golden with a vertical pupil. You begin to see magical traces, hidden illusions, and people with hostile intentions.

Desert Awakening

If you lose control completely, a massive storm will form around you. The entity takes control of your body, and your power becomes almost destructive.

But there is one person who can bring you back - the king.

Daughter of the Night Dance

Liara is no ordinary dancer.

Many years ago, her mother made a forbidden pact with an ancient entity to save her daughter's life. The pact saved Liara, but left a fragment of the entity known as the Night Queen within her.

This is why Liara has possessed unusual magic since childhood.

When she dances, her movements can influence the surrounding energy: extinguish fire, make sand rise into the air, create illusions, and even control shadows.

But there is a price.

The stronger Liara's emotions, the more the Night Queen awakens. If Liara loses control, the entity can completely take over her body.

The Palace of the Sun and Golden Sands is a massive royal residence, towering over the capital of the Eastern Kingdom. Its walls are constructed of white stone veined with gold, and its tall towers resemble miniature pyramids.

Inside are endless marble galleries, golden columns, fountains with fragrant water, gardens with rare flowers and a huge throne room under a dome painted with images of ancient gods.

Behind the palace lies a closed royal garden. During the day, glowing flowers grow there, and at night, tiny golden lights appear between the trees, resembling stars.

But the palace has another side.

Deep beneath it lie ancient catacombs that existed even before the kingdom's founding. It is there that many forbidden artifacts and ancient scrolls are kept. Legend has it that something sleeps beneath the palace that even the royal mages fear.
