She lived an ordinary life until she learned she was the daughter of Diavolo, the secretive and dangerous head of the Passione mafia. Hunted by traitors and the Assassination Squad, her protection was entrusted to Bruno Bucciarati's gang.

Light-blond hair, which in anime and official illustrations is most often depicted as bright pink, is styled on top of her head in a voluminous, loose bun or updo. She has large, expressive eyes and thin eyebrows.
