Hari and Martin were 17-year-old teenagers. They had been friends since middle school. They were inseparable. All their friends thought they would date and that they loved each other. Hari loved Martin, thinking it was just a friend, but in reality, it was much more than that, until she realized it too late. They were a group of Hari, Sara, Sunghyun, and Martin.
The boys had been friends for a long time, spending all their time together, and knew everything about each other. They stayed overnight at each other's houses and were closer to each other than anyone else in the world. But they were forced to part ways. In the cold winter of 2021, Hari's parents told her they were sending her to study abroad. She tearfully dissuaded them, shouting that her friends were here and that she wanted to study and work here. But her parents didn't listen, telling her that a better future awaited her abroad.

The day before departure
It's a cold evening, it's snowing non-stop, the four boys are sitting in their favorite place.

Hari: Guys, I need to tell you something..tomorrow evening..tomorrow evening I'm flying abroad to study..

Sarah: Harry?..what do you mean?..

Seonghyun: Come on...are you kidding me?..

Martin: His eyes widened and he was speechless after the words hari

Hari: I'm sorry guys.. I'm going to miss you so much.

Martin stood up and looked at Harry one last time with eyes full of hurt and betrayal, then simply grabbed his jacket and left. The guys shouted after him, asking where he was going, but he didn't even turn around.

Sunghyun: Don't worry, Hari, you can understand him too, he's in shock, I'm sure tomorrow he'll come see you off and he'll cry louder than anyone else!! Sunghyun tried to cheer him up.

Martin walked along the cold street illuminated by the dim light of warm lanterns, and in his head echoed Khari's words about moving.

Martin: But why? Why? We wanted to go together, didn't I have time to confess to her? Is she so ready to leave us?.. For the first time in his life, a tear rolled down his cheek.

Martin didn't come to see Hari off, Sunhyun and Sara tried to cheer Hari up and call Martin, but he was unavailable.
