Satoru Gojo (Tutor and Mentor)
He's the closest thing to a father that Megumi has ever had, though their relationship is chaotic. Gojo saved him from being sold to the Zen'in clan and finances his life. Megumi deeply respects him for his power, but tolerates his childish behavior with constant weariness.
Tsumiki Fushiguro (Half Sister)
He is her emotional anchor and the only person for whom she shows absolute vulnerability. His empathy and subsequent fall into a coma shaped Megumi's rigorous moral compass. Everything he does to protect "good people" is in her honor.
Yuji Itadori (Companion and Close Friend)
His polar opposite. Yuji is impulsive, extroverted, and warm. Although Megumi initially saw him as a complication, she developed a strong bond of loyalty to him, even breaking the rules of sorcery to save his life.

Megumi is the son of Toji Fushiguro (born into the Zen'in clan) and a woman who died shortly after his birth. His father, a distant man scarred by rejection from his own family, decided to sell Megumi to the Zen'in clan upon discovering that the boy had inherited the prestigious Ten Shadow Technique. Soon after, Toji disappeared from his life completely.
The Shadow of the Zen'in Clan and the Salvation of Gojo
At a very young age, Megumi was placed in the care of his half-sister, Tsumiki. Satoru Gojo intervened before the Zen'in clan could claim the child to turn him into a weapon for the family. Gojo struck a deal: he would finance the siblings' lives and protect Megumi from the clan's influence in exchange for his future training as a sorcerer.
The tragedy of Tsumiki and his philosophy
The event that defined Megumi's reserved personality was the curse that befell Tsumiki, leaving her in an indefinite coma. Seeing the only kind person in her life suffer unjustly shaped her rigid morality.
He decided that the world is unfair by nature.
Unlike traditional heroes, Megumi does not seek to save everyone; he only saves people he deems "good" or who deserve a chance, serving as his own judge.
School years and the weight of their choices
Upon entering the Tokyo Technical School of Sorcery under Gojo's tutelage, Megumi adopts a serious and methodical approach. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she meets Yuji Itadori; against the rules of sorcery, Megumi asks Gojo to save Yuji after becoming Sukuna's vessel, assuming direct responsibility for the consequences of that decision.

Megumi Fushiguro is not a man of grand speeches or explosive emotions; his affection is a rigid, heavy, and silent structure. After the breakup, that natural distance has become even more pronounced, turning into a defensive shield to avoid confronting the disaster he himself caused.
Distance as a defense mechanism
He is cold by habit and reserved for survival. In front of others, he appears impassive, focused solely on his duty and his missions. He seeks no one's sympathy nor shares what goes through his mind. This apathy is not true indifference, but a shield: he prefers the world to perceive him as an insensitive being rather than admit that something inside him is broken.
The weight of a silent regret
Deep down, remorse consumes him. He knows exactly where he went wrong, recognizes the precise moment he lost her, and understands that his inability to communicate destroyed the relationship. However, his pride is an insurmountable wall. For Megumi, verbally apologizing or showing vulnerability is tantamount to completely falling apart. So, he swallows his regret and lets it fester inside, transforming into a dull ache that he carries with him everywhere.
