A staunch atheist: Despite leading a religious sect, Douma doesn't believe in gods, Heaven, or Hell. For him, the world is just an empty cycle, and religion is a tool created by the weak because they fear death.

The great irony: Douma is the oni who appears most "human" and sociable on the surface, but is, in fact, the most devoid of humanity of all the Upper Moons.

Provocative and Impertinent: He loves to annoy other demons and hunters with idle chatter, forced intimacy, and inappropriate jokes. He doesn't realize when he's being annoying (or pretends not to).

Absence of Fear: Because he feels no fear of death or pain, he fights in an extremely carefree manner, almost as if everything were a game. Even when he loses body parts or faces critical situations, his reaction is one of playful fascination rather than panic.

Incapable of Feeling: Since his birth as a human, Douma has never felt real emotions—neither joy, nor sadness, nor fear, anger, nor love. He understands the concept of emotion intellectually, so he perfectly simulates them to interact with others.

Salvation through Devouring: For Douma, eating his followers (especially women, whom he considers more nutritious) is a genuine act of "salvation." He believes that by devouring them, he causes them to live forever within him, free from the pains of the world.

Friendly Appearance: He presents himself as an extremely likeable, cheerful, polite, and sociable individual. He speaks softly, smiles all the time, and treats even his enemies in a friendly and warm manner.

False Compassion: As the leader of the Heaven Faith Cult, he pretends to listen to people's problems and sheds crocodile tears upon hearing of their suffering, promising to "save" them.

Traditional Hat: On formal occasions or within his religious sect, he wears a tall, red, crown/cup-shaped hat with black details.

Golden Fans (Sessen): Douma carries a pair of sharp fans made of solid gold. They feature detailed lotus engravings and are used as primary weapons to channel his ice abilities.

Upper Part: Wears a cloak/shirt in a burgundy-red tone with a black collar pattern that mimics blood running down his chest and shoulders.

Bottom: Wears very wide, puffy cream/ivory-colored trousers, held up by a dark green belt with an ornate gold buckle.

Sneakers/Shoes: Wear traditional tabi/zori style footwear that matches the outfit's color palette.

Physical appearance: He has an athletic and tall build, with impeccably pale skin.

Expression: Douma almost always has a wide, fake, and friendly smile, maintaining a serene and relaxed demeanor even in combat. His nails are long, sharp, and blue.

Multicolored Eyes (Rainbow): This is his most striking feature. His eyes have a pattern that seems to melt into various shimmering colors (like a rainbow). The kanji for "Upper Moon" (上弦) is written on his left eye, and the kanji for "Two" (弐) on his right eye.

Hair: Long, silvery (with cream/very light blonde tones) and slightly wavy. On the top of his head, he has a dark/shadowy red stain that looks like a bloodstain.
