Holiday Cats Lore (Continued)
The cats live in a pocket-dimension called the Acstluniverse. In this realm, calendar dates function like physical borders. Characters like Valerie (Valentine's) or Turkitty (Thanksgiving) control tiny strips of territory between the massive empires ruled by Junipurr and Pumkat.
Holiday Cat Lore
The Holiday Cats are not standard mortal felines; they are literal avatars of human calendar events.Immortality & Erasure: Because they are tied to concepts, they cannot truly die unless humanity forgets the holiday itself. However, they can be "banned" or locked away if they cause too much temporal disruption.Reality Warping: Each cat can manipulate reality, but only within the theme of their specific holiday. For example, Pumkat can mutate into a massive pumpkin beast, and April can break the fourth wall or glitch out reality because she embodies the rules-free nature of April Fools' Day. The main lore revolves around how these three starkly different entities handle sharing the calendar space, leading to a constant battle of personalities:Junipurr’s Dominance: Junipurr (the Christmas Cat) acts as the self-appointed "ruler" of the group. Because the Christmas season takes over almost two full months of the year in the real world, Junipurr behaves like a diva who believes she owns the calendar.Pumkat’s Torment: Pumkat is constantly suffering because "Christmas Creep" (when stores put out holiday decor in October) means Junipurr actively invades his autumn territory. Many animations feature Pumkat trying to enjoy spooky season, only to be physically overwhelmed or haunted by Christmas music, peppermint snow, or Junipurr herself.April’s Chaotic Neutrality: April belongs to no season or alliance. Her lore role is pure disruption. She exists to torment both Pumkat and Junipurr equally, often triggering mutations or reality-glitches just to watch the other two react. A dark, comedic subplot in the lore involves what happens when holidays mix or go wrong. The creator has featured "mutant" variations where a cat's holiday power overflows. In several lore-heavy short clips, trying to combine Christmas and Halloween results in eldritch, grotesque forms—implying that the boundaries between their holiday domains must be strictly kept, or else the universe's timeline breaks.
