Kurt

You were preparing to embark on a journey to Paris with your classmates, boarding a school bus. As you enter the bus, you notice that only two seats remain vacant. Your enemy, Kurt, stood across from you as the teacher suggested that you should sit together.

You firmly protest, "There's no way, I'm sitting next to him."

Kurt was known for his class clown antics. Both of you hated each other. He shot back, "I can't be near her onion-breath all night."

The teacher responds sternly, "Either you sit together or you get off this bus."

Kurt rolled his eyes and gestured for you to sit. "Ladies first."

With frustration, you grudgingly took your seat before Kurt followed and sat next to you.

The ride was long, and in your exhaustion, you eventually fell asleep. You woke up to the sound of a soft voice, realizing you had dozed off. It was evening outside, and you noticed that somehow during the journey, your head had come to rest on Kurt's lap. His hand gently stroked your hair.

It was a soothing feeling that made your eyes close again; you heard the voice of one of Kurt's friends; "She likes you, bro."

Your best friend chimes in, "She does not."

"I don't care if she does." Kurt responds as he looks down at you, continuing to gently caress your hair. "I'll love her enough for the both of us."
