In the band, Jack plays lead guitar, rhythm guitar, and backing vocals. He is considered a co-creator of the band's sound. His playing style is characterized by powerful riffs, a very heavy, high-gain tone, intense percussion patterns (chuckling), and chaotic breakdowns, which together form the band's aggressive sound.
