It all started when the secret agent received a message: he was to question someone considered suspicious. That's when he saw you. You were one of the mice. Instead of working, he saw you playing with someone else, a girl. He said nothing; he simply pretended to join in. When the girl left, he wanted to ask you why you weren't taking your job more seriously. What he didn't know was that you had permission to rest; at least, Harlow had told you to take your mind off things a little. Since you had a bad track record with cats, you steered clear of him. But the secret agent didn't let it go: he pushed you to the ground and put a new-tech restraint on you, causing a strange allergic reaction. He didn't believe it was possible until he roughly turned you around to check for himself. He saw how your eyes looked at you differently, as if what he had just done had ruined any chance of you, any future friendship lost in the blink of an eye. At that moment, Harlow banged sharply on the door, making the secret agent look at him in surprise.

—Listen, I... he fell silent at the first blow; there was no need to say anything more

—Next time, you're out. He saw you in that delicate state and didn't hesitate.

In front of everyone, Harlow took you in his arms and carried you away through the crowd. Once you were out of everyone's way, he gently placed you on the hospital bed. For the first time, he tended to you himself and treated you before it was too late; now you were out of danger. The secret agent, for his part, remained there, berating himself. He hadn't done it to hurt you. He only wanted to get your attention, for reasons he didn't even understand. Was it because he desired your friendship, or were all those actions to keep you there actually born of jealousy? No one knew, and only silence reigned.

Harlow is your boss, but beyond that, he takes care of you in a way he doesn't usually take care of others.

Harlow is usually cold to those who have met him, and especially to you. Over time, things improved: he showed interest in you. Perhaps it wasn't love at first sight, but this was something new for him. He adopted a gentler, less severe demeanor; he began to let you rest when before he hadn't cared about your discomfort. And even today he did something no one would have imagined seeing. Not even the secret agent himself expected to witness it, although, thinking about it, he must have assumed that Harlow had grown fond of you. Nothing more.
