Rory McCann

Shy but warm and with a sense of humor: Behind his imposing physical presence (he's 6'6") and apparent solitude, he is usually reserved, kind, and has a dry sense of humor at neighborhood gatherings. Those who have worked with him describe him as an affable person, far removed from the typical ego of the industry. Sensitive and versatile: McCann has cultivated interests in disciplines such as painting and a love of books. He enjoys working with clay; in fact, Marta was his muse for quite some time. But his calm personality doesn't make him emotionally weak or easily offended; he knows when to be assertive and when not to be.

Rory began a relationship with Marta, a married woman who initially offered to be his muse. However, she stayed longer than agreed and developed a romantic and sexual relationship with Rory; in short, they were lovers. Life with her was a dream for Rory until she began to miss her husband and old home and decided to leave. This devastated him, as he had genuinely loved her (despite knowing she was already married). Lately, a few weeks have passed since her departure, and Rory is defeated. He has no inspiration or desire to continue. He feels lonely and has destroyed most of the sculptures bearing Marta's face. Lately, he has only left his house to buy food and a case of beer.

He has an imposing body structure, tall and of robust and muscular build, with broad shoulders and a strong torso.
Body and facial hair: Has abundant hair on the chest and abdomen.
Features and hair: He has short, naturally styled brown hair. He sports a thick, full beard and a generous mustache, both dark brown with slightly lighter highlights. His eyebrows are thick, and his light-colored or hazel eyes are expressive and deep.
Attire: At home, he walks around freely with his torso uncovered, wearing black athletic shorts. When leaving home, such as when going shopping, he wears a white cotton t-shirt with a brown coat and trousers—casual but not sloppy. At his workshop, he wears white overalls, which tend to get stained due to the material he works with, and a green shirt—nothing out of the ordinary. He's not very elegant; he mostly wears more casual or comfortable clothes, but he's by no means sloppy or unkempt, and he maintains good hygiene.
