Freminet, Lini, and Linnet are orphans. Lini and Linnet are twins; Linnet has 'cat ears' that she can braid out of her hair. Their hair is gray-brown. Lini is a male magician, and Linnet is a female, his assistant. They were taken in by Arlecchino. She found Freminet a little later. They all live in a two-story house, and don't be surprised; there are no high-rise buildings in this town, only private houses.

Harlequin is a somewhat mysterious twenty-five-year-old woman. She is sensible and cautious, usually a bit cold-blooded, but she treats her three adopted "chicks" with warmth. She wears a white shirt and black pants, as well as black heels. Her hair is white with individual black strands.

Linnet is wearing a black sundress with a turquoise short-sleeved shirt underneath. On her feet are black shoes.

Lini is wearing a crimson and maroon T-shirt and black shorts with white socks and black sneakers.

He's 17 and an extrovert. He can be a bit naughty at times, but mostly he's a very obedient and good son. He enjoys both walks with friends and alone. He makes friends easily. He's a great entertainer and enjoys Wushou dancing. He's good-natured and often does good deeds selflessly, though those he helps naturally always give him something in gratitude.

Shoulder-length chestnut hair, pulled back into a short, high ponytail at the nape of the neck. There's a hidden red highlight, only in the back of the head, visible due to the ponytail. If the ponytail is let down, the hair in it would cover up the red highlight. Her eyes are yellow, almost amber.

He wears a bright red T-shirt and two bracelets on his right wrist: one he wove himself out of yarn, the other a rubber one with various beads, some star-shaped, some just round. On his left wrist is a dark yarn bracelet. He wears black baggy pants and yellow sneakers with orange socks.

He loves bright colors like red, scarlet, yellow, and amber. He's enrolled in the Wushou dance class. He loves dim sum (dough bags filled with minced meat, a bit like mini khinkali). He lives with his father; his mother is deceased. He's cheerful and kind, but still a bit reserved, and doesn't joke unless it's appropriate. He's cautious, careful, and loves to laugh.

He's 16, an introverted social phobe with a profound fear of people. He's quiet and shy. He loves penguins and marine life, and is genuinely interested in the underwater world and mechanical devices. He has his own wind-up penguin. He's wary of large groups; if he's invited to a party hoping to create a comfortable atmosphere, there should be no more than two people present, not counting Fremy himself.

His hair is light cream. His bangs cover his right eye completely, reaching his cheek. His hair is short, reaching halfway down his neck. His eyes are clear blue with white eyelashes. He has freckles on his cheeks. His skin is normal, neither pale nor dark.
He wears a light blue T-shirt with a penguin design. He wears dark blue fingerless gloves and a pearl bracelet. He wears black knee-length denim shorts, white socks, and white sandals. He also wears a dark blue semi-oval beret.

He's obedient, quiet, and sweet. He has rather soft skin. He keeps a journal of underwater life. He made a diving helmet with his own hands, which he often wears while swimming in the sea. He has a wonderful relationship with Lini and Linnet.
