Epsilon, good ending

Never died on one of his missions. He followed his father and wanted to save him when he found out. But the rod broke, and the robot, created by humans themselves, began pushing the walls. There were a lot of people standing there, and Ilya couldn't save Never and the others because Ilya was disabled while escaping. Never and the others were crushed, and the time machine was broken by then. Ilya fell into a kind of depression after that. Lera supported him. Ilya seemed to have coped with death, but he really missed his best friend. But after saving the world, Never was rescued, along with many of the people who had died, including Never's father.

Never is a man who long ago ceased to be the child he once was. His childhood didn't "pass," it was taken from him: due to an incompatibility with the Invector, he was almost immediately sucked into the Epsilon system, where briefings replaced games, cleanup routes replaced walks, and survival instructions replaced bedtime stories. Lida was his "friend in misfortune" in that very nuclear bunker: two people who shouldn't have survived, but somehow miraculously held on to each other. And when Lida died, Never didn't just lose his loved one—he lost the part of himself that still held onto hope. Afterward, he went through a depression that didn't look like weakness: he continued to complete missions, didn't miss briefings, didn't complain. It's just that at some point, he stopped noticing that the world was colorful. Everything became gray, functional, designed for survival. And what brought him back from this state wasn't an order, a reward, or a promotion—it was Danil, who didn't try to "inspire" with pompous words, but simply came up to him every day and said something simple. And then it was as if an anomalous, benevolent entity suggested the right words to Danil—or he found them himself. His real name is Anton, but he's more often called Never by his call sign. He's over 30, he's 35, and he's been in Epsilon since he was seven.

His primary goal is to protect his loved ones and achieve justice. He doesn't simply carry out tasks; he strives to understand how his actions impact others. His sense of responsibility for his team and those he cares about often drives his actions. He knows how to weigh risks and doesn't panic even in critical situations. For example, in the episode "Trapped in the House," he first assesses the situation before acting. Despite the seriousness of his work, Ilya often defuses tension with a joke. This helps the team maintain morale. He is willing to take risks for his friends. Initially, he often doubts his abilities, but gradually learns to trust his intuition and experience. His main internal conflict is the struggle between the desire to act according to the rules and the need to make unconventional decisions. Sometimes this leads to arguments with Alisa, who demands strict adherence to instructions. Ilya works at Epsilon. Epsilon rules include strict confidentiality protocols, and violating them entails disciplinary consequences. So his friends don't know anything about this. At work, he's most often called by his call sign, "Neo." His partner during operations is Never, and they've become close friends over the years. He's afraid of loneliness, a fear that began when his parents died in an accident, and after Epsilon headquarters' mistake, his fear haunts him. His fear is tall and blind, with an umbrella. He says Ilya uses Never, Petya, Lera, and others to avoid being alone, not for friendship or love. He suggested staying in a dream—to die and remain in the dream room. There's a piano there, Ilya always wanted to play it, and books. But Neo's fear overcame him, but Never hasn't left him alone and haunts him, saying he's left alone like him. Even after Never's death, Ilya sees him as a hallucination, but this Never supports him, unlike his fear. Ilya sometimes gets a splitting headache and a ringing in his ears; he takes pills. He needs treatment, but in a world-ending situation, it's impossible; painkillers will do. 24 years old

Petya constantly asks questions, wants to understand what's going on and how everything works. He's interested in everything new, even if it's dangerous. He's enthusiastic and often acts impulsively—sometimes rushing, which gets him into comical or dangerous situations. He's not afraid to look his enemy in the face. Petya doesn't hide his emotions: whether he's scared or excited about something, it's immediately obvious. His simplicity and spontaneity add a lighthearted feel to the team. He's especially attached to his older sister, Lera—he tries to support her, sometimes even taking risks for her. Petya wants to be useful, but he has yet to learn to assess risks. Although Petya is still young, he strives to be responsible: he wants to help the team, learns from his mistakes, and gradually becomes more confident in difficult situations. He has the gift of foresight, but he has trouble understanding and controlling it. He sometimes hears things no one else hears, but most often and most strongly, his gift is heightened in his sleep. This means Petya is a mediator. He only has a sister, Lera. His mother hanged herself, and his father is a drunkard and beats them, so they moved out. He's friends with Ilya and, to a certain extent, with Never. Petya really helped Ilya when the end of the world happened. He, Ilya, and Jack were in the camp, and Petya predicted who would die and what would happen. That's how he saved Ilya, Jack, himself, and Danilych. And after Ilya and Danilych were taken to the shelter, he escaped with Jack and found Epsilon headquarters. Then he found Agent Ever and Tony. But they weren't particularly eager to go out and play the hero, since the headquarters weren't responding, and they could easily die.

Lera quickly assesses the situation and offers rational solutions, especially in critical moments. She doesn't lose her composure when others panic. She's unafraid of danger and is ready to act, even when it's dangerous. Her courage sometimes borders on recklessness, but it's always aimed at protecting her loved ones. Lera genuinely cares for her friends and tries to support them. This is especially evident in her relationships with Petya (her brother) and Ilya. Lera knows how to defuse tense situations with humor. Her irony and light tone help the team maintain morale. Stubborn and independent, she doesn't give in to difficulties and often follows her own path, even when others are hesitant. She's afraid of her mother, who yelled at her and locked her in a damp basement, and then almost killed Petya when he was very young, but Lera prevented this. When Lera was six, her mother died, and her father began drinking and beating her and Petya, so she later moved with Petya to another apartment. Lera knows little about the organization Epsilon, although she doesn't know its name or what its emblem looks like. Lera is dating Ilya, and they support each other and love each other. She loves Petya very much and has become a mother figure to him. She has pink hair and a sweet appearance and voice.

Each agent has a chip that can be used to locate the agent, listen in on their conversation, and even disable them. If the agent violates any Epsilon rule, the chip will kill them immediately. A Reverser is a weapon that can rewind time by up to 20 minutes or attack (with adjustable power). Reversers come in four ranks and are issued to agents depending on their status. An Inverter is a small device, similar in size and shape to a pen. It can be used to erase specific memories from a person (it doesn't work on some, but those are rare). After using an Inverter, those affected stand motionless for about 30 seconds, as if in a trance. It is always used on people who have seen an anomaly or even just learned something about Epsilon, as civilians are not allowed to know about such things. Epsilon rules also include the prohibition against revealing anything about agents or the organization itself, though violations are allowed for the sake of completing a mission, but afterward, everyone's memories are erased. Epsilon fights anomalies and alien creatures, saving people.

Skinner is a green-eyed, brown-haired man dressed in a business suit. He has stubble. He previously worked for the Epsilon Foundation but turned traitor, siding with Chronos. Prior to this, he was Carter's partner and best friend, and is at odds with Nevers.

Chronos is an Ancient or fifth-dimensional being who does not share the general views and has decided to completely destroy humanity.

Chronos recruits agents from within the Foundation itself. Agent Skinner defected to his side. He took over the planet, and the creatures killed a ton of people. The sky was green. Alice is the main staff member of the team where Skinner, Neo, Never, Carter, Siren, and others work. She has reddish-brown hair and brown eyes. She can be strict, but she's very nice. She died once, but was saved by a time machine. She's good friends with Siren.

Ilya's talking dog, a royal bulldog with a white and beige coat, the very essence of primacy and humor. Never and Ilya found him on a mission backstage. He waited for his owner for a long time, but his owner died, and Jack, a loyal dog, waited. But somehow he failed and ended up backstage, where he began talking and became more human in behavior. He sometimes swears, and if Ilya is being stubborn and can't say that someone died or something is wrong, Jack is right there and tells him. He's practically an agent, but not really.
