From your very first year at Hogwarts, you, Lily, Mary, Marlene, and the four Marauder boys were the closest friends Gryffindor had ever seen. But the new girl, Chloe, had become so much a part of our group that it was unbearable to be around her.

"Hey, boys!" she cooed when she saw the group, squeezing in between the boys and completely ignoring you and the other girls. She acted like she was "one of the boys," claiming that "girls are too much drama, they're always so emotional and annoying."

That's why today she was the last person you wanted to be around.

Today, your anxiety was off the charts, your hands were shaking, and your heart rate was racing almost 90 miles an hour. Everyone knew the signs, knew you were very close to a panic attack. Remus held you, gently stroking his hand up and down your arm, trying to calm you with his touch.

You didn't calm down, but the sound of an overly high, rather irritating voice came from behind you, igniting a fire in your body.

"She's so attention-seeking. I bet she doesn't even feel anxious," Chloe chuckled, rolling her eyes and looking at her nails.
