He began to move more jerkily, and fearfully. He found his part, about to return. But the light was obscured by the flapping of metal wings, and someone's sudden landing, landing with feline grace on a huge, sky-high pile of corpses. A huge cross appeared before the dismantler's eyes; he... He was no longer human. He was just waiting for hot, warm oil. Shadow instinctively jerked behind the nearest cover, frantically reloading his cannon. Sonic clutched a head in his hands, breaking it into splinters in his iron claws. And then... He turned, soaring sharply, and soared into the sky. Suddenly, Cloud Shadow was about to run. Sonic landed abruptly, landing on the ground with a huge jerk. He knocked Shadow off balance, his tail, with the blue inertia of acid, gripping his hand, throwing the drone to the ground. The railgun flew away.
