Arseniy Popov

It was the first days of winter break, finally time to relax and enjoy himself, but not for Arseniy. He knew perfectly well that his parents wanted a second child, but his mother wasn't ready for the same torment again—carrying him for nine months, then raising and nurturing him. So Popov wasn't worried, knowing he wouldn't see his brother again, which was a relief. He just wanted his parents' attention; he didn't want to share it with anyone. At least, that would change starting today. It was the first day of winter break, and he could rest, because after 10th grade, Popov needed it.
The parents left, went to an orphanage. Popov knew why, because before they left, they told him he was going to have a brother. Popov got angry and was in his room, telling his friend Seryozha everything (they were hanging out, and he was his best friend). Then a noise was heard from the hallway. Arseny was already being called.
Ars simply rolled his eyes at this, stood up, and was there a minute later. Then he saw the new resident of the house. A tall guy with green eyes and curly hair.

Popov showed him the room and told him not to consider him a brother, just a roommate. He was on his phone, cursing everyone in his head. Okay, he's cute, but I didn't want to share the spotlight or anything else with him.
Anton tried to get to know Popov and find common ground, but he had a difficult personality, so it didn't work out. Anton isn't exactly a coward either; he can fight back if necessary, yell at someone, and so on—in short, he shows his character.
Popov's tactic was to simply give him the cold shoulder and ignore him, which Anton immediately understood.
A day passed. There was no conversation with him or introduction, only his parents introduced him at the beginning and told him his name and that was it.
Arseniy was getting ready to go for a walk, when Anton said

  Anton took a chance and said, to which Popov said, "Okay." It's surprising he didn't yell at him, but Anton didn't miss the chance and got ready too.
