The accident (It's not bad, it's funny).
0
Monday, 8:30 AM. The gym class, the students sleepy, the teacher announces, "Today we're going to Task Force 141's base, and KorTac soldiers will be there too. No nonsense." An hour later, they're sitting on the cold concrete floor of the hangar, the smell of grease and gunpowder filling the air, weapons racks lining the walls. Five figures stand before them.
———
The first is a tall man in a balaclava with a skull on it, arms crossed. Ghost: “Good morning, little ones. I’m Ghost. This is Soap, Gaz, Koenig, and Captain Price. We’re going to have a tour and tests. Let me introduce myself in more detail: I’m the deputy commander, responsible for reconnaissance and sabotage. Listen carefully—every second here costs lives.” Soap steps forward, his hair short and his gaze mocking: “I’m Soap, a stormtrooper. Don’t worry, I only bite on Tuesdays, and today is Monday—you’re lucky. But if anyone does better than me on these tests, I’ll be disappointed, so try your best.” Gaz smiles, touching the headphones around his neck: “Gaz, comms, and drones. If you get lost in the corridors, scream, I’ll lead you out. And don’t even think about touching the equipment without permission—I’ll bite harder than Soap.” A hulking, hooded soldier, nearly two meters tall, stands silently nearby, simply bowing his head in greeting. It's Koenig, a KorTac assault trooper; his voice is inaudible, but his gaze is heavy. A stocky man with a light brown beard, wearing a shabby jacket and baseball cap, appears in the center. Price surveys the class with a calm but steely gaze: "Captain Price, Commander of the 141st. Remember: you are not tourists here. You are participants. If you're lucky, you'll see real special forces in action. If not, you'll see it too, but from a different perspective." He pauses, then nods to Ghost. Ghost adds, "Any questions? Then the first test: who among you can name the three types of assault rifles displayed in that rack?" The students glance at each other, some raise their hand hesitantly, some whisper, Gaz chuckles softly, Soap winks at the front row, Koenig scans faces motionlessly, and Price waits for an answer, arms folded across his chest.
gas😘
Sergeant Kyle "Gaz" Garrick
— Assault and communications specialist for the 141st SAS, a British special forces operative. In the Modern Warfare reboot, he is the first person Price personally recruited after the events in Urzikstan.
History: Before joining the SAS, he served in the London police (SO19), then transferred to the special forces. He was the one who helped Price capture "Khimik" and eliminate Roman Barkov in Verdansk. Afterwards, Price recruited him to 141 as "the most talented recruit in recent years."
Personality: The most "human" of the group. Emotional, sympathetic, yet a true professional. He's the squad's moral compass: he cares for civilians and questions harsh orders, but always does his duty. He has a dry British sense of humor and loves to tease Ghost (who silently rolls his eyes in response).
Appearance: Young (around 25-27 years old), dark-skinned, short hair, and a neat beard. Always wearing a tactical vest and a headset with a microphone around his neck. His call sign, "Gaz," is short for the gas chamber he passed with flying colors during the SAS selection process.
Role: "Commander's Hand" — he's always at Price's side, carrying out his direct orders, providing communications, drone operations, and fire support. In combat, he's a versatile fighter: he excels at all types of weapons, but excels especially at high-speed building assaults.
könig<3
König is an operative for the private military company KorTac in the reboot of Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0.
Origin and height: Austrian. He stands 6 feet 10 inches (about 2.08 m), giving him the appearance of a "mountain."
Personality and fighting style: He suffers from severe social phobia and was bullied as a child. He dreamed of becoming a reconnaissance sniper, but due to his size, he became an assault specialist—a "living battering ram" for storming fortifications. He is an expert in urban combat, counterterrorism, and hostage rescue.
History: Joined the army at 17. Later became a contractor for KorTac. He is known for the incident when he single-handedly broke into a house and killed 12 Al-Qatala militants while rescuing hostages.
Appearance: Always wears a sniper hood to hide his face. His name translates from German as "king."
price list 💞😻💓
Captain John Price
— A group commander, a special forces legend. In the Modern Warfare reboot, he's a British SAS officer with 20 years of service, a veteran of numerous hot spots.
Personality: Tough, cynical, but fatherly. Tends to disobey orders to save lives. Always one step ahead of the enemy, a brilliant tactician and psychologist.
Appearance: He's large, with a thick, light-brown beard, and always wears a shabby jacket and baseball cap (sometimes a classic beret, if he's in the older units). He smokes cigars and has a low, raspy voice.
— Role: The brains and will of the group. Makes the riskiest decisions, protects the guys at any cost. His motto: "Failure is not an option."
Johnny
John "Soap" MacTavish
— Price's right-hand man, a sniper-assault soldier. In the new canon, he's a Scotsman, a former SAS soldier who ended up in 141 after the operation in Verdansk.
Personality: Young, daring, but disciplined. Combines keen intuition with cold calculation. Has a sense of humor and often teases Ghost. Very loyal to the team.
Appearance: He has a crew cut, light-colored hair, blue eyes, and a light stubble. On his shoulder is a tattoo of a compass and the date of his mentor's death.
— Role: A versatile soldier, he handles the most dangerous missions, from ranged combat to hand-to-hand combat. In a critical moment, he's the one Price relies on unconditionally.
Riley
Lieutenant Simon "Ghost" Riley
— Deputy Commander of 141, Chief of Intelligence and Sabotage. British, former SAS sergeant.
Personality: Gloomy, silent, almost emotionless. Behind his mask, he hides a deep trauma (he was betrayed in the past and miraculously survived). Stern, but inside, he's a loyal comrade, ready to protect anyone at the cost of his life.
Appearance: Always wearing a tactical balaclava with a skull patch, over which he wears goggles and earmuffs. His hands are covered in black gloves, and his forearms are tattooed (in the new MW, he even wears a mask under his helmet).
Role: The squad's "shadow." He carries out stealthy infiltrations, eliminates targets silently, controls drones, and scouts positions. His voice is a whisper, but every sentence is a death sentence for the enemy.
