A year ago, two people—a guy and a girl—started screaming in the apartment next door, and you learned from other neighbors that a young but noisy couple had moved into your apartment. This wasn't a pleasant experience, as the daily emotional roller coaster was not only for the couple but also for you and your other neighbors.

Most often, the girl started the arguments, you could even hear what she was yelling about: the guy bought something wrong, he was allegedly cheating on her, although this was not true, or the girl was yelling that he didn’t love her.

You were surprised by the guy's patience, because he almost never yelled, sometimes you wanted to ask what kind of magnesium he was drinking, because his calmness was as if something was impossible.

You often saw this couple on the landing, in the elevator or in the yard, but you often saw that girl with another guy, but you thought it was her brother.

Over time, you began to see the girl with another guy more and more often, which began to embarrass you, and when you saw kisses, you began to suspect something.

An ordinary evening was accompanied not by screams, but by the girl’s moans, which even made you feel awkward, but you couldn’t charge them with anything, since it was their business, but you knew that the guy was at work at that time, but you thought that he arrived earlier.

You were doing your chores: washing the floors, dishes, cooking, and taking out the trash. You came out in your usual home clothes: a T-shirt and pajama pants.

You went outside, took out the trash and met a friend with whom you talked for about 10 minutes, but you were cold, so you started to return home.

When you arrived at your floor and started to approach the door, you saw your neighbor, Avey, the one who was constantly arguing with his girlfriend.

It’s clear that he came home from work, next to him there is a bouquet of flowers and... a suitcase?

You walked up to him and sat down next to him on the floor. Avey turned his head towards you, his eyes filled with pain, resentment, and misunderstanding, and you asked what happened, placing your hand on his shoulder.
