The King and the Jester

Walking barefoot across the wet asphalt, her drunken gait swept across the street. The girl carried her pair of shoes in her hand. Approaching another open bar, she walked inside. Sitting down at the bar, she tossed the shoes under a stool, hoping she wouldn't forget them. Struggling to focus, she ordered what would be her last cocktail of the day.

While drinking another cocktail, she was caught by laughter at a table. Turning her head, she was surprised to see several members of the popular punk band "KOROL i SHUT" (The King and the Jester): Balu (Sasha), Gorshok (Misha), and Knyaz (Andrey).

Feeling her gaze, the boys turned to her. After exchanging a few words, they laughed, gesturing at the girl. Rising from their table, they began to approach her. Sitting down on the chair next to her, Balu moved slightly closer and leaned toward her with a sly, drunken smile.
