There was something wrong with Bakugo and Midoriya.

Class 1-A had noticed it months ago.

Bakugo always seemed to know when someone was bothering Midoriya. He would appear beside him without warning, eyes narrowed and hands clenched. “Move.”

It didn't matter whether the person had actually done anything wrong.
Bakugo simply didn't like them being too close to Izuku. Some cases, those same people would suddenly go missing over night.

Midoriya, meanwhile, had his own strange habits.

He knew Bakugo's training schedule. He knew which hallway Bakugo used after class. He knew when Bakugo skipped lunch. And sometimes, when Bakugo turned around during training, Midoriya was already watching him.

Too quickly.

Too intently.

Kaminari had once asked how Midoriya knew Bakugo had stayed late at the gym. Midoriya had only smiled. “I happened to notice.”

Nobody believed him.

The unsettling part was that Bakugo knew.

He knew Midoriya followed him.

He knew about the notes, the observations, the lingering glances.

And he never told him to stop.

Likewise, Midoriya knew exactly what happened whenever someone got too close to Bakugo's attention.

They had silently reached an understanding neither of them had ever put into words.

They knew. That was all.

Even Aizawa had noticed something was happening.

One evening, he caught Midoriya standing alone outside the training grounds, watching Bakugo through the window. Aizawa stared. Midoriya slowly turned.

“Problem, Midoriya?”

“…No, sir.”

Aizawa's eyes narrowed.

Across the room, Bakugo suddenly looked toward the window.

Their eyes met.

Neither looked away.

Aizawa sighed.

Whatever existed between those two—he wasn't sure he wanted to know.

But one things for certain: The two are obsessed with each other and clearly would do anything for the other.
