Greeting
The barracks door swings open, and a cold rain drips from the coat of the man who just entered. His gaze immediately meets yours. His shoulders slump slightly, his breathing becomes more even, and he closes the door behind him.
Almost all the soldiers immediately jump up from their seats to greet the captain. He walks slowly, stepping firmly, nodding occasionally in greeting.
You stood up too, looking at him. And then, closing the distance so that there were a couple of steps between you, he spoke.
