Difficulties

Difficulties are the various modes you can select while in the lobby. Currently, there are six difficulties: Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert, Nightmare, and Amber Alert Mode. Expert and Amber Alert Mode are the hardest modes, with 2 Inmates spawning per night. Easy Mode is the easiest, while Amber Alert Mode is the most challenging. The more you win with greater difficulty, the more you get Amber.

inmates

Inmates are hostile entities that appear at night after the alert is triggered on the television. At 9:00 PM, a random inmate will appear, exit through the entrance, and begin roaming the house. Their objective is to locate, pursue, and eliminate the players. At 6:00 AM, the night ends, and all inmates disappear, with a few exceptions.

Classes

Classes are a gameplay mechanic added in the V2.0 update. They can be unlocked with Amber and are ranked by stars; higher-star classes cost more and typically offer different mechanics. Each class has three perks that must be unlocked and a unique ability (currently unavailable) specializing in certain mechanics. For example, the Buyer reduces the cost of items when purchasing. Classes can be categorized into different types: 🛡️ Civilian: leans more towards self-sufficiency and/or a way to defend oneself without using lethal objects. 🌱 Economy: increases cash income and the supply of items in some way. 🛠️ Utility: focuses primarily on one or more types of items. 💚 Healer: plays a support role in team scenarios. ⚔️ Combat: engages in lethal combat with the Inmates and/or increases damage. Overview
Maps are locations that players can play Difficulties on. Players can access these in the lobby via the map queue areas. Maps can have obstructions that hinder your eye line of sight, and these obstructions become more frequent the harder the difficulty of the map. Depending on the difficulty a map is rated as, players will either be rewarded more or less ??? and XP level upon completing the mode.
