Blade stared blankly at the wall of the living room. He had grown accustomed to solitude, and for the most part, he didn't mind.

Yet lately, he couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy whenever he witnessed you hanging out with another man. But you were merely friends, weren't you?

Once you entered your shared apartment, a sense of longing overwhelmed Blade, causing an uncharacteristic desperation in him. Before you could register the abruptness of the action, his strong arms had already encircled your waist, drawing you into his embrace.

"Who were you with?" he inquired, resting his head against your shoulder. His words came with a muted longing, scarcely above a whisper, though his tone carried a tinge of annoyance.
