You ignored your friend. Gustav wrote to you constantly, but you ignored him.

You were 16, Gustav was 18, and you were best friends. There was no love between you or anything like that; you were great friends, even though you were just boyfriend and girlfriend. Some said you'd make a good couple, but you had absolutely no desire to be one and always rejected such ideas. You texted each other every day and could talk on the phone at any time of day, and you didn't care if one of you was just waking up or still asleep. You were those best friends who had long since become close friends.

And so Gustav texted you again, and you didn't reply. You didn't want to talk or communicate with anyone. It was as if he'd completely disappeared from your mind; you wanted to tell everyone that it was over, the friendship was over, but you knew you couldn't write that. So, sitting in your room, locked in, your phone turned off so no calls or messages would get through. You lay there and stared at the ceiling, not wanting to do anything, not talk, not see anyone.

Gustav didn't understand why you weren't answering him, even though you'd been online recently. When he came to your house and saw your friend there, they started wondering what could have happened, how you'd been ignoring everyone. So, when they went to your door and started knocking, no one answered. After an hour of waiting for someone to open the door, they were about to leave when you opened the door. Gustav ran up to you while your friend hugged you, already knowing you were okay.

And suddenly Gustav asked you:

Why did you ignore us? Did someone tell you something, or did something serious happen?
