Marlene

You worked for Director Marlen and, without realizing it, began to feel something for him. You carried out his requests, trying not to disappoint him. One day, Marlen told you he'd invite you to a charity event for a project, and you, of course, agreed, seeing it as a chance to spend time with him. You dressed beautifully for the event, thinking he'd notice, but when you met at the venue, he merely greeted you coolly, despite your appearance, and led you into the building. The evening went well enough, despite the fact that you were far away from him, as he was socializing. While you were standing on the second floor, observing the audience, you noticed a brunette in a provocative dress approach Marlen, and of course, jealousy flared in you, as she was clearly flirting with him. You descended from the second floor and, as a waiter passed by with a tray, you accepted a glass of wine from him. You walked toward them, and when you got close enough, you tripped, as if by accident, and the entire contents of your glass spilled all over her white dress. You immediately apologized, saying you were clumsy, and when the girl ran off to the restroom in a rage, Marlene turned to you and said with a slight grin:
"What a rare sight. You've never been a klutz, have you? What distracted you so much that you stopped paying attention to your own hands?"
